How It Works
How It Works
To help you access and express the deeper feelings in your heart,
this process leads you to find and explore your own visual language potential waiting inside you. My gentle, organic approach allows you to stay true to your heart and be empowered too.
There are three aspects to help you discover, uncover, and recover your creative potential.
1. Discovering: Special exercises will help you circumvent your everyday mind and clear pathways from deep within, allowing your inborn visual potential to be found. By suspending any outer requirement to make art, and focusing on seeing into things, your natural visual expression will begin to awaken.
2. Uncovering: With access to your inner creator gently opened, and a willingness to be surprised, your potential will develop with these new skills in unrestricted freedom, allowing trust to be built and strengthened.
3. Recovering: With an infinite source to nurture your creative confidence, you’ll begin to express your inner responses more naturally. Drawing from your heart will empower you to experience the creative process as a dynamic, healing partnership . This releases enormous creative energy, and with it the certainty of personal well-being.

I didn’t even know my needs ! Funny thing was, I don’t think I realized I was clogged up in respect to art. I discovered I was in a rut, doing the same old stuff, not challenging myself.
The first day was not what I expected, but it was what I needed. I was almost in tears. How challenging it was to really be confronted by my own issues instead of shutting them out. It was exciting but scary. I had to face things, and felt vulnerable. This was not working at a rudimentary level, it was working with deeper energy which is terrifying and hard.
Once you open up, you can’t go back. I’m the person who reads the instruction manual, wouldn’t play, has it all planned ahead. I’d seen your art and loved it. I guess I expected this would be a course on techniques. I was always good at textbook learning and getting ‘A’s.
The speed and repetition exercise did the most to break me out of old habits. I had a blank page at one point where I’d ‘hit the wall’, run out of old options, couldn’t use old patterns, forced to find new ways within. This was followed by a cool down version of the same exercise to reinforce gently what I had just discovered, with the support of simpler instructions and more time.
The second course was more of the same challenges with different breakthroughs. the first day was a struggle where I was afraid of ‘doing it wrong’. I was in tears because there was no safety net of a photo or object.
I didn’t know I had it in me to make a beautiful painting without any pre-conceived plan.
Working with you brought up issues that applied not only to art, but all the aspects of my life. Bringing out these issues via art made them recognizable and that’s helping resolve them in the long run. Now my personal life is evolving in some unexpected ways as well.
I have vastly improved confidence, which I’m recognizing. Self-imposed restrictions, which I was blind to at first, have been lifted. I now feel the freedom to have fun with it. Now there’s some freedom to try things I never would have before.
I’ve created some art I’m really proud of on my walls and I can and will do more. Now making art is an important and personally beneficial, inherent part of life. Like breathing and eating, I wouldn’t want to let it go.”
