Funny thing about synchronicity, isn't it Monica.

When I read the article imagining I didn't write it, I get to the part about suspend judgment, 1) at the beginning, and 2) towards the end, and I think: "What are you talking about - gad-zooks, that's all the time !" We can't help but look at our work with a critical eye at some point.

That's what I need at this moment too. I need to be reminded again and again in fact, and in every moment too, that it's more a question of proportion / balance, and not one of shutting up our critical mind once and for all.

Another wonderful article, Celeste! As always, your article topics seem to come at just the right time for me. I will be implementing the steps you have written and explained so concretely as soon as I get back to my current work. Also, the steps will help me 'deal with' feelings about some completed work I have been questioning. Thank you!

How interesting, Alex, to apply this to writing ! The fact that it's hard is probably a good sign though. Revising is when the real creative work takes place.

I just broke through a stuck-ness myself. It wasn't coming to life no matter how often I kept down the same road. I had to let myself use the same old approach over and over until I had nothing left to lose. Then it felt safe to try what I was itching to try. That's how I discovered a new direction. Again.

Let us know how it goes and what happens, won't you ?

When I opened this article this morning, I was overjoyed because I am trying to rewrite a novel and I have got stuck.
The list of questions will be useful.
I am going to try the "seeing" part.
It will be hard, though.
